Details of Allegro Software
Allegro software simplifies the viewing of the JDF 1.3 specification and ICSs via a Windows
Explorer-like interface. In a left-hand navigator pane, the user can quickly drill down (as deeply as
wished) through the tree structure of nodes that represent JDF resources, elements, attributes,
values, processes and messages. The user can determine what references a particular resource,
element, attribute, value or data type by "drilling up" through a cross reference structure of nodes.

The user can view the contents of a JDF specification table by clicking on a node in the tree structure.
If the user selects a set of ICSs to display, Allegro displays the Manager/Worker values, and the ICS
Description text merged into the Description text from the JDF Specification.

The user can determine at a glance whether an element, attribute, value, etc. is deprecated, current,
future or in a selected ICS by looking at the color coding of icons or the background color of table
rows.

This product saves time by putting all related information from the JDF Specification and selected
ICSs into one place, and by putting resources and their corresponding abstract elements on
adjacent tabs, thus eliminating the need to manually synthesize the information from multiple tables
across multiple documents.
